About ASC
Aryabhatta Supercomputing Centre (ASC) is the computational heart of the institute, established under the National Supercomputing Mission (NSM) to foster high-performance computing (HPC) excellence. At its core lies PARAM Rudra, a supercomputing system indigenously designed by C-DAC and manufactured in India.
PARAM Rudra comprises 180 compute nodes built on RUDRA servers, powered by Intel Xeon processors and integrated with a robust open-source software stack. It empowers researchers across 10 academic departments.
