Description: The Biomass Gasifier Hot Water Generator (BGHWG) efficiently converts biomass into thermal energy, powering an adsorption refrigeration system for sustainable cooling. The off-grid cold storage system integrates a biomass gasification-based hot water generator with temperature and humidity control subsystems. It uses hot water to drive adsorption refrigeration and desiccant-based dehumidification, while solar power supports auxiliary operations, ensuring sustainable and efficient storage for perishables.

Description: This chamber is built in to perform humid air condensation experiments on surfaces at fixed relative humidity (20 - 100 %) and temperature (room temperature to 50 °C) inside the chamber. The mist from external humidifiers circulated through a heating coil inside the chamber to elevate the humidity. The heat from the heating coil raises the temperature. The surfaces are cooled by the cold bath circulator and surface condensation reduces the humidity as well as lowers the temperature. Overall, an equilibrium of humidity (±3 %) and temperature (±0.5 °C) can be maintained inside the chamber in a fully automated manner.
