✔️ B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering, YMCA Institute of Technology, Haryana, 2011
I started my academic journey and opted for Mechanical Engineering as field of study in YMCA Institute of Engineering, Faridabad. During my graduation days, I worked on a project titled as “Study of fuel properties and gasification of pellet from leafy biomass”. Further, I was fortunate to crack GATE 2011 and got admitted in Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, for my masters in Thermal Engineering, an India’s premier research institution. During my master’s program, I was exposed to similar subjects in more detail and closer to reality. Having a background in biomass energy, I opted for my master’s project based on renewable sources of energy. The project consisted primarily of experimentation on CNG internal combustion engine using syngas produced in a downdraft gasifier. My project work aimed at “To run and test a TATA-ACE CNG engine successfully on producer gas in single fuel mode.” After the completion of my masters, I joined BLUESTAR INDIA PVT.LTD, India’s one of the best centralized air conditioning companies as “Assistant Manager” in R & D Department. My work profile is designing of air-conditioning systems, simulation, and thermal analysis of system components, prototype making and testing (performance and reliability). I also worked as Assistant Professor at Dronacharya College of Engineering for almost 8 months, prior to get admitted as a Project Staff in Thermal and Fluid Transport Laboratory (TFTL), IIT Patna. During the project, I worked on a Govt-Industry joint funded project titled as " Design and development of a biomass gasifier based hot water generator for an adsorption refrigeration system. Afterwards, I enrolled in PhD in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at IIT Patna in Jan 2019 and worked on the Topic "Design and development of biomass gasification-based temperature-controlled nit for the storage and processing of perishable items". Currently, I am appointed as the Deputy Manager at Center of Research and Innovation in Lloyd AC Division at Havells India Limited, Noida. I am a part of technology cell responsible for handling multiple projects related to Room Air Conditioners. Currently I am working of identification of new low Global Warming Potential (low-GWP) refrigerant blends and incorporation of the desiccant in Room Air Conditioning Systems.
